A Beautiful Summer Table Shoot for a Magazine Editorial

Under the Open Sky: Embracing Alfresco Elegance

Earlier this summer, I collaborated with Charlotte Burn, The Soulful Studio, to create an inspiring al fresco photoshoot for The Broadway Magazine. I absolutely loved working on this, getting outdoors and away from the screen and collaborating with local shops to elevate the look and feel of the local village magazine, crafting something that wouldn’t go amiss in an issue of Home and Garden or Cotswold Life.

Nestled in the Cotswold village of Broadway and tucked just behind the High Street lies a tranquil haven that graciously served as the backdrop for the shoot. Joe and Gilly Aspey, who own Slate Clothing, very kindly offered us use of their lush garden sanctuary, surrounded by vibrant blossoms and verdant foliage, to provide the perfect canvas for our alfresco dining setup.

Despite a brief morning shower delaying us slightly (after 2 solid weeks of sunshine, we couldn’t quite believe our misfortune… a minor inconvenience, but nonetheless we stuck to the plan!!), we ventured into this serene oasis to showcase an array of products from Broadway’s shopping scene that effortlessly blended sophistication with Broadway’s Cotswold charm.
